Aden

Aden used India stamps before 1937 In January, 1963, the colony of Aden (the port) and the sheikdoms and emirates of the Western Aden Protectorate.

The stamps of the Kathiri State of Seiyun were valid for use throughout Aden. Used copies generally bear Aden GPO or Aden Camp cancels. Examples with cancels from offices in the Eastern Protectorate command a premium.
