On October 11, 2014 the Ministry of Communications and Informatization of the Republic of Belarus will issue the stamp “25 years since the foundation of the Belarusian Exarchate”.

Designer: Alexander Blintsov. Printing: offset. Colour: full colour. Paper: chalk-surfaced, gummed. Perforation: comb 131/2. Size of the stamp: 37x52 mm. Sheet composition: 6 (3x2) stamps. Size of the sheet: 110X123 mm. While printing the stamp they used the technology of thermal stamping by metalized foil of golden colour. Print quantity: 60.000 stamps.

The stamp was printed at the Republican Unitary Enterprise “Bobruisk Integrated Printing House named after A. T.  Nepogodin”.

Letter “H” is equal to the surface tariff of a letter up to 20 gram abroad.

The Council of Bishops of the Russian Orthodox Church, commemorating the 400th anniversary of the establishment of the Moscow Patriarchate, was held on October 9-11, 1989 in St. Daniel Monastery. It adopted a definition of the foundation of the Belarusian Exarchate of the Moscow Patriarchate having endorsed the decision of the Holy Synod about the formation of Mogilev, Pinsk and Polotsk dioceses.
