On June 20, 2018 the Ministry of Communications and Informatization of the Republic of Belarus will issue 3 postage stamps of the series “Medal winners of the XXIII Olympic Winter Games in Pyeongchang”.
Design: Yauheniya Biadonik. Print process: offset. Colour: multicoloured. Paper: chalk-surfaced, gummed. Perforations: comb 12. Stamps size: No.1257, 1258 — 30x28 mm; No.1259 — 60x28 mm. Sheets composition: 8 (4x2) and 4 (2x2) stamps. Sheets size: 136x74 mm. Face value of each stamp: H. Print quantity: 56.000 stamps each.
Printer: Republican Unitary Enterprise “Bobruisk Integrated Printing House named after A. T. Nepogodin”.
Face value H is equal to the surface tariff of a letter up to 20 gram abroad.

The XXIII Olympic Winter Games were held from 7 to 23 February 2018 in Pyeongchang (South Korea).
Over 2900 athletes took part in the Games. They represented 92 National Olympic Committees. The Games featured 102 events in 7 sports (15 disciplines).Belarusian athletes have won 2 gold and 1 silver medals.
Gold medals were won by freestyler Hanna Huskova in ski acrobatics and biathletes Darya Domracheva, Dzinara Alimbekava, Iryna Kryuko and Nadezhda Skardino in the relay race.
The silver medal was won by Darya Domracheva in the mass start.
The stamps were printed with the emblem of the National Olympic Committee of the Republic of Belarus, which is also shown on the First Day Cover.
The project was prepared in cooperation with the National Olympic Committee of the Republic of Belarus.
A special cancellation on FDC will be carried out at the post office No.1 of Minsk (shop “Philately”,16 Moskovskaya street) on the stamp issuing day.
