Navahrudak

Navahrudak is the first capital of the Grand Duchy of Lithuania and one of the oldest towns in Belarus. According to archaeological research its history began at the end of the 10th century.
Today Navahrudak is a town of Grodno region of the Republic of Belarus, the administrative centre of Navahrudak district. The town has preserved many unique architectural monuments and major attractions. The most known is the castle which existed already in the 11th century.
