On November 4, 2019 the Ministry of Communications and Informatization of the Republic of Belarus will issue 3 postage stamps of the series “History of banknotes of Belarus”.
Design: Tatyana Kuznetsova. Print process: offset. Colour: multicoloured with additional paint like bronze. Paper: chalk-surfaced, gummed. Perforations: comb 12. Stamps size: 40x28 mm. Sheets composition: 6 (3x2) stamps & 2 coupons. Sheets size: 138x138 mm. The technology of thermal stamping with metalized red foil was applied on the stamps and coupons. Print quantity: 72.000 stamps each.
Printer: Unitary Enterprise “Bobruisk Integrated Printing House named after A. T. Nepogodin”.
Letter “A” is equal to the tariff of a letter up to 20 gram within Belarus.
Letter “N” is equal to the surface tariff of a postcard abroad.
Letter “P” is equal to the air-mail tariff of a letter up to 20 gram abroad.

A sheetlet is also issued. Sheetlet composition: 6 (2 sets) stamps. Sheetlet size: 138x138 mm. Print quantity: 15.000 sheetlets.
The national currency along with the emblem, the flag and anthem is an integral attribute of a sovereign state. One of the important components of a full value money circulation system is metallic currency (coins).
Banknotes of Belarus, series of the years 1992-1999, 2000 and 2009, are depicted on the postage stamps.
The project was prepared in cooperation with the National Bank of the Republic of Belarus.

A special cancellation on FDC will be carried out at the post office No.1 of Minsk (shop “Philately”,16 Moskovskaya street) on the stamp issuing day.
