The state institution Minsk Scientific and Practical Centre of Surgery, Transplantology and Hematology is the largest multidisciplinary medical and scientific centre in the Republic of Belarus.
It was created on the basis of the 9th City Clinical Hospital, which started its activities in 1976.
In early 2010, the Republican Scientific and Practical Centre of Organ and Tissue Transplantation was opened.
In 2018, the health institution 9th City Clinical Hospital was renamed into the state institution Minsk Scientific and Practical Centre of Surgery, Transplantology and Hematology.
The stamp and FDC are based on the logo of the Minsk Scientific and Practical Centre of Surgery, Transplantology and Hematology, in cooperation with which the project was prepared.
Colour of the postmark - black.
A special cancellation on FDC will be carried out at the post office No.1 of Minsk (shop “Philately”, 16 Moskovskaya street) on the stamp issuing day.
