A honey bee is widespread throughout the world. Since ancient times, people have been keeping the honey bees to collect honey, wax, propolis and other products. Moreover, beekeepers use bees as natural pollinators of agricultural crops (buckwheat, clover, sunflower) and fruit plantations (apple tree, cherry, raspberry, currant).

According to international experts, the honey bee helps to increase agricultural yields by an average of 40%, and trees in orchards bear by 60% more fruits.

The project was prepared in cooperation with the Apislavia Federation of Beekeeping Associations.
