On September 24, 2020 the Ministry of Communications and Informatization of the Republic of Belarus will issue the stamp “UNESCO World Heritage in paintings of Belarus and China”.

UNESCO World Heritage in paintings of Belarus and China

Face value P is equal to the air-mail tariff of a letter up to 20 gram abroad.
In October 1988, Belarus joined the Convention Concerning the Protection of the World Cultural and Natural Heritage. Today 4 sites of our country has already been included in the UNESCO World Heritage List. There is the castle complex Mir. It was built in the beginning of the 16th century and depicted in Wu Weishan's paintings Forbidden Castle (on the coupon and the First Day Cover) and Sacred Castle (on the stamp). Mir was included in the UNESCO World Heritage List in 2000.
The stamp is based on the painting of the artist Vladimir Kozhukh Painting Mountains. The work depicts the Wuyishan Mountains of China, which were included in the UNESCO World Heritage List in December 1999.
The project was prepared based on the materials of the National Art Museum of the Republic of Belarus and the National Art Museum of China.
Colour of the postmark – black.
A special cancellation on FDC will be carried out at the Main Post Office of Minsk on the stamp issuing day.
