The first two weeks of life, young roe deer are inactive, hiding in the grass or bush, that allows them to protect from numerous enemies during this period. After a month, they run well, begin to consume plant food, and at the age of 1–3 months they follow the female.
Young squirrels are born naked and blind. Their fur begins to grow after a couple of weeks, and their eyes open after a month, after that the young squirrels are already crawling out of the nest. The mother feeds them with milk for about 40–50 days, and at the age of 8–10 weeks the babies leave her.
Young pigs are born very beautiful. They have dark stripes along the reddish-gray background along the whole body. This color has a camouflage value. Young pigs immediately hide in danger, it is difficult to notice them even at the distance of 2–3 meter. In two weeks the piglets are strong enough to follow the mother.
Newborn young beavers can see well. They have excellent downiness and weigh about 0.5 kg. In two days they already know how to swim. The grown up young beavers have not left their parents for another 2 years. It is connected with the complex methods of building and obtaining food, it takes quite a lot of time to master all of these.
