On 28 October, 2021 the Ministry of Communications and Informatization of the Republic of Belarus will issue the souvenir sheet “Kolozha Icon of the Mother of God”.
Design: Yelena Medved. Print process: offset. Colour: multicoloured with additional paint like bronze. Paper: chalk-surfaced, gummed. Perforations: semicircular 133/4, frame 12. Stamp size: 56х75,5 mm. Souvenir sheet size: 65х86 mm. The technology of thermal stamping with metalized foil of golden colour is used on the souvenir sheet. Print quantity: 10.000 souvenir sheets.

Kolozha Icon of the Mother of God has been revered as a miraculous one since the end of the 16th - beginning of the 17th century, for centuries this image was the main shrine of the Grodno region.
The icon was taken to Russia and lost during the evacuation in 1915. For a long time, it was believed that copies of the icon, painted before its disappearance, also did not survive, but at the end of 2018, at one of the antique auctions in Germany, the Kolozha Icon of the Mother of God was discovered and redeemed.
This icon is kept in the Sts. Boris and Gleb Kolozha Church. It is the oldest and completely unique temple in Belarus, an architectural monument of the 12th century.
The project was prepared on the basis of materials and in cooperation with the parish of the Church of the Holy Martyrs of the Blessed Princes Boris and Gleb.
The technology of augmented reality is applied: when you direct a Smartphone camera at the souvenir sheet, while the AR MARKA BELARUS application is running, a specially created script appears.
