Stanislav Yulianovich Zhukovsky (May 13, 1873 village Endrihovcy of Grodno province of the Russian Empire (now agrotown Endrihovcy of Volkovysk district of Grodno Region) – August 1944) – a famous landscape painter.

All Zhukovsky's paintings are painted from nature. There is a lot of light and air in his works, he preferred to paint with bright, deep colors, used impressionistic techniques to make his paintings more lyrical.

A separate important topic in the work of Stanislav Zhukovsky was the old manors. He traveled a lot, painting parks, buildings, corners of interiors with "vintage" furniture and windows open to the garden.

The project was prepared in cooperation with the National Art Museum of the Republic of Belarus.

At the base of the First Day Cover is a fragment of a reproduction of S. Zhukovsky's painting "In Old Park" (oil on canvas mounted on plywood, 1921).
