Her tasks included organizing socially useful activities such as servicing apartments, helping neighbors or caring for children. Popular solidarity has fostered the intellectual and cultural life of older people in meeting places and clubs. However, this work also had a "political and propaganda overtones": friendship with the Soviet Union and "aversion to imperialism" should be encouraged.
