Perforation can vary between 13½ and 14 on this stamp due to variations in the perforating machinery used by the printer. Surcharged, in black, with "RED CROSS TWO CENTS". The lines of the surcharge are 9mm apart. The 2c premium was donated to the Red Cross Society.
