BREITFUS, Fedor L. (1851-1907) — a famous Russian philatelist and the founder and Chairman for 24 years of the St. Petersburg section of the International society of philatelists (Dresden). BREMERHAVEN MAIL [Hamburg, Germany]. Bremerhaven was part of the Free city of Bremen. Forwarding mails between Bremen and Bremerhaven were paid at a reduced rate, for which Bremen was produced in stamps of that denomination (1855, 1863).
