DERULYUFT [ "DERULUFT"] (abbreviation of the German "Deutsch-Russische Luftverkehrs — Gesseleschaft") — a mixed Soviet-German joint-stock company of air communications. Founded in 1921. In the years 1922-37 was provided by the joint operation of aircraft on air routes, including the transportation of airmail. The first straight line Derulyuft Konigsberg — Moscow is open 01.05.1922. To pay for the carriage of mail on this airline in the Russian Federation issued an airmail stamp (No. 59).

DESSAU PROVISORY [Dessau, Soviet occupied zone of Germany, now part of Germany]. In 1946 the stamps of Saxony (with teeth and without) in the horizontal direction was made by imprinting the name of the city. Used only as a charity stamps and mail had not walking. Dessau provisory
DEXTRIN — easily soluble in water powder that has shades from white to light brown; mixed with other adhesives widely used in the production of brands (see Glue). In the first years of development of philately Dextrin is widely used for "durable" sticking stamps in albums, which led to the deaths of many classic brands. Dextrin is one of the components of the induced adhesive.
DHAR [Dhar] — the former feudal Principality in British India. Had its own postal service. The first stamp issued in 1897. On them the inscription in Devanagari "Mail yard Dhar". On stamps of 1898 the inscriptions are also in English. The issue lasted until 1900. All brand Dhara 31.03.1901 withdrawn and replaced by stamps of British India. Postage stamps Dhara.
DIEGO-SUAREZ [Diego Suarez, now ance-ranan] is a city in the North of Madagascar, capital of the province. In the years 1885-98 separate French colony and naval base. Own stamps were issued in the years 1890-94. In 1890 used stamps colonial type with overprint of new nominal value, and in 1891 and overprinted with the name of the colony. DIPLOMA (from Greek "co" — to write and to read) — the old Russian name of the letter, written on paper or parchment (in the southern and Eastern lands of the Russian state). The so-called letters of secular and spiritual feudal lords. The messenger carried the letter in a special pouch on his chest. Letters of ordinary people in the Moscow Principality was called gramotnymi. In the 17th century the term "Grammar" began to be used in official documents.
CATALOG (philatelic) — registration list, postal stamps and (or) other philatelic materials, giving them basic information. First published in 1861 in France and Germany. Principal: General (chronological), including stamps of all countries, one continent, group of countries or one country; specialized; special; motivic. In the General Catalogue of the country arranged alphabetically. For each country a description of the grades listed in chronological order with the year or complete date of issue. Stamps of each country have separate ascending serial numbering. Stamps of the series are located at increasing values. A reduced (less — life-size) reproduction brands (with the exception of drawings) and description of issue. In recent years, some Directories have moved on multicolor reproduction brands. Some well-known contemporary Directories: lipsia, Iver, Michael, of Zumstein, Gibbons. Stamp collecting to the General or specialized collection of a country, the most suitable are General and specialized Directories published in those countries, such as the Catalog of stamps of USSR, POFIS(Czechoslovakia), RUCH(Poland) and others.

CATALOG of MOTIVIC — kind philatelic catalogue covering mail edition with scenes of figures, reasons of issue (texts); is compiled in chronological order or according to a specific thematic focus. Directory motivic includes postage stamps and blocks, stationery, stamps and other postal publications one country, group of countries or the entire world. Examples of motivic Directory in the Soviet Union are "Space philately", "the Fleet of our homeland", "flora on postage stamps".
REGIONAL DIRECTORY — view philatelic catalogue, arranged in chronological order and covering the post newspaper (usually postage stamps and blocks) of a certain group of countries (Balkan countries poluostrova, Nordic countries and others). Recently, some well-known catalogues (Gibbons), previously published as catalogs of postage stamps of the whole world, now available in parts as Catalogs regional.
The DIRECTORY SIMPLIFIED — kind philatelic catalogue, arranged in chronological order and covering postal issues (usually postage stamps and blocks) in one country, group of countries or the entire world. Contains some philatelic characteristics of the publication, includes only the main releases, usually without any varieties. Designed for young collectors with little experience of collecting. Sometimes called youth directory.
CATALOG SPECIAL — kind philatelic catalog, built usually in chronological order covering a specific area of philatelic collectibles, certain types of mail issues (stationery, postage stamps, FDCs, postage special flights airmail and others), published in one country, group of countries or worldwide. In the USSR, Catalog special was "Special postage stamps of the USSR", "Catalog of first day covers and maximum cards", "Marked postal cards of the USSR" and others.
