KUWAIT [Kuwait] is a country in Western Asia, on saveware-East of the Arabian Peninsula. In 1914 a British protectorate. Independence proclaimed 19.06.1961. With 1959, issued stamps with original drawings. Brand independent Kuwait were issued in 1962; in 1964, the first standard and an airmail stamps, in 1970, the first block. Postage due stamps were issued in 1963.
