The GENERAL EXHIBITION REGULATIONS of the FIP is the main document establishing the rules of organization and holding of world and international exhibitions under the patronage or with the support of FIP. Approved in 1982. Regulates the rights and duties of organizers, sponsors and exhibitors, foreign commissioners, commissioners of FIP, the international jury members and so on. Establishes categories of philatelic exhibitions (General and specialized), exhibition classes, categories, medals, kinds of prizes.

The GERMAN DEMOCRATIC REPUBLIC [Deutsche Demokratische Republik, DDR] (GDR) – a socialist state in Central Europe. Based 07.10.1949 year.
